Chapter 73. Afraid of Losing You

After Dr. Brown finished examining her, all the doctors and nurses went out, and a minute later, the door was pushed open. Her mother’s face made her eyes heat up instantly. “My poor daughter!” her mother walked over and hugged her tightly while sobbing. Before long, her father showed up. He looked like someone who had not been sleeping forever.

She felt an excruciating pain in her chest as she realized Ben wasn’t among them.

“Why it’s taking you so long, Keira? We missed you so much...” whispered her father while kissing her forehead, his tears falling on her skin.

“Taking me so long? What do you mean, Dad?” asked Keira confusedly.

“You’ve been unconscious for almost three days, Kei. We were all so worried about you,” her mother sobbed. Keira wanted to ask about Ben, but she didn’t want to upset her parents, so she smiled weakly, not knowing what to say.

“You didn’t forget that you have a husband, did you? Can you remember Ben well?” asked her father
