Khushi's POV
I asked, turning to Mandira, "Why? Why on earth must it be you out of all the people? I loved you the most."
Mandira remained mute while she slumped her head low.
"Mandira! Speak up!" I yelled in anger and disbelief. She slowly raised her head and looked into my eyes for a long, uneasy minute.
