After leaving Chelsea Creek, Samantha went to the company. At five o’clock in the afternoon, she went to the kindergarten to pick up her two children from school. Because of the change in environment, she went early to ensure the children would adapt.

Fortunately, the things she worried about didn’t happen; the two kids seemed to adapt well to the new environment. On the way home, Charlotte talked non-stop about what happened at school. Compared to her, Noah remained silent.
