Her words fell into Sarah’s ears, instantly taking on another layer of meaning.

Her face changed drastically, and she sharply questioned, “What do you mean by that? Are you two together? What’s your relationship?”

Afterward, Sarah looked at Ethan, forgetting her fear and angrily said, “Mr. Steele, do you know that you have a fiancée? Now you’re unclear with another woman. Are you being fair to Suzy? Don’t forget, Suzy risked her life to give birth to your son.”

“Open the door.” Ethan gave the final order. His lowered voice indicated that his patience had run out.
