Chapter 20. Sad Noah

Samantha arrived at Chelsea Creek and immediately sensed that something was wrong with the atmosphere.

Ethan sat on the sofa with a gloomy face, seemingly lost in thought.

The surrounding servants worked with their heads down, not daring to breathe loudly.

She walked to Ethan’s side and softly called, “Mr. Steele.”

Ethan snapped back to reality, handed her the prepared contract, and said, “This is the employment contract. Take a look and sign it if there are no problems.”

Samantha took the contract, carefully read it, and checked the three requests she made, including the conditions Ethan promised. The contract was standard and had no problems. Without hesitation, she signed her name.

Ethan, with a humane tone, said, “I will have the housekeeper prepare a study for you. If needed, you can work here. However, your activities are limited to the kitchen and the study.”
