Chapter 157. The Real Honeymoon

"That’s because I was waiting for the moon to go dark again, Gaby," Max replied, smiling at his wife. "Do you like it?"

"So much!" Gabriella said as she turned to her husband. "You are right. This place is much more beautiful than the bubble hotel. Thank you very much, Max."

Taking a deep breath, the woman felt the warmth of her husband's embrace. She was so happy that she almost burst into tears.

"Would you like to touch it?" the man asked, managing to widen his wife's eyes.

"Can I?"

Max nodded. "Of course."

A second later, the man took off his footwear and grabbed his wife's hand. Without waiting for orders, Gabriella did the same. Then, with a wide arch of lips, the couple approached the shoreline.

“Look, Max, our footprints are lit!” the woman exclaimed when they were almost at the water's edge. Her laughter in the waves was the most beautiful thing Max had ever heard.
