Chapter 90. Still Patient

“Ah, why do I feel like this again?” the girl thought as she rubbed her chest. "Come on, Mia! Think positively! This is just an ordinary meeting. Hasn't Julian already confirmed his loyalty? He couldn't have turned to another woman."

After taking a deep breath, Mia stepped towards her desk. Unfortunately, until she arrived in front of the computer, her mind was still haunted by the faces of Katniss and Julian.

"Tsk, at this rate, I won't be able to focus on work," the girl grumbled while covering her ears. The familiar voice she heard in last night's video call kept playing in her mind.

Unable to endure the noise, Mia finally closed her eyes. In the dark, she tried to come to terms with restlessness.

“Stop imagining nonsense, Mia Sanders! You're the one who decided to give Julian the chance to choose the best. But, why do you feel threatened like this? He has made it clear that you are the woman of his choice. What else do you have to worry about?”
