“Is that woman on the loose?” the man asked through the throat clogged with horror.
"Yes. Police are trying to trace her. Therefore, be careful. Even though we are in different countries, we are not far apart. Don't feel safe! Even if it's not that woman, someone else could threaten you."
Forcing his lungs not to succumb to restlessness, Julian closed his eyes for a moment. He had to remain rational.
"How are you now? Are your wounds dangerous?” Julian asked after returning his gaze.
"I've got stitches. Right now, I'm being treated in a hospital with tight security,” Sebastian replied before letting out a faint sigh. "Do you know? Instead of worrying about me, you better think about your own and Mia's safety. You two are alone. You must understand what I mean.”
