Chapter 43. Red Cheeks
The woman sitting at the side was wide-eyed and shook her head firmly.
"I don't look at you," she muttered as eyes looked out the window. "How could he be so confident?"
A second later, Max lifted his head and took a deep breath. "You think I don't know? You've been glancing at me for minutes."
Gabriella checked the man's face from the corner of her eyes. As soon as she saw the man's crooked smile, as quickly as lightning, she averted.
"Then why is your face red?" Unexpectedly, Max leaned towards Gabriella. "Are you imagining what happened last night?"
