Hearing the words of the grandson, Mr. Hunt was spontaneously stunned. With frozen tears, the old man started a deep consideration.
"Actually, when I was really desperate, I often kept that logic in my mind. I tried to believe that this was the best for her. She might suffer a lot if I went first,” the grandfather nodded faintly.
“Then, did it work?” Julian inquired in a half-whisper.
“Yeah, but then I regretted it. There is a feeling of guilt that arises every time I manage to accept her death. That's a very confusing situation, isn't it?”
After a moment of silence, the grandson raised the corners of his lips and nodded. "Yes. Sorry for not being able to cheer you up, Grandpa.”
