Chapter 14
I spent the weekend meditating with the hopes that I could control my wolf form, catching up with my school subjects, and getting acquainted with the neighborhood. I kind of missed my dad but I was glad I got away from his constant orders. I also missed Aidan and how he always supported and defended me, even when my dad didn't. He was my brother from another mother. Literally.
I remember one time I ditched training and was going to get punished. Aidan lied that he also missed training so he could keep me company. They eventually found out he was lying and let him off the hook. I served the punishment alone and was bored to death while at it. It was a stupid thing for him to do, really, but I appreciate the thought.
"What are you thinking about, Chad?" Aunt Camille honked her car horn, teleporting my thoughts back to the present. "Aren't you getting down?"
