Chapter 45. Negotiating

They were currently on the roof of Lea’s house. The woman escapes upstairs with Edward, so they can get here. Rachel was worried because the weather was so little, especially since Edward had just been born.

Mario stared at Lea in front of him with anger. The woman was holding Edward who kept crying. How not to cry? The wrong way Lea held Edward made the baby uncomfortable, then cried.

“Lea, please return Edward to me.” Rachel kept on crying with Mario who faithfully hugged her to calm down. Rachel was very worried that anything happened to Edward.

Edward, the baby kept crying and moving its body, trying to struggle to escape from Lea’s arms. Edward felt uncomfortable in the woman’s arms which he thought were very rude. Seeing that, Rachel wanted to get closer to Edward. However, Lea backed away until the woman was close to the roof railing.

“No! You don’t come any closer!” Lea said, warning Rachel who approached her. The woman’s breathing sounded irregular.
