Nikolas gasped at the touch and even when Brooklyn left his hand, he didn’t pull back at all. He stroked their hair gently in a feather soft caress, loving the feel of them. His babies!
“What have you named them?” he asked with curiosity.
“Brycen and Nikson Ardolf,” said Brooklyn, while Nikolas tried to grasp the unusual names.
“Bison and Nison? Aren’t they like animal names?” asked a clueless Nikolas, who was too busy staring at her to catch their names.
With Brooklyn so close to him, her sweet smell playing havoc over his senses, he was totally distracted. The wish to pull her into his arms and tell her he loved her and missed her was too strong for him to ignore. He gazed at her luscious pink lips in a daze.
