Chapter 117. Hurt and Unwanted

Brooklyn tried hard to accept the fact that Nikolas might be with a woman and enjoying himself while she was unnecessarily worried about him. He had changed! As far as she remembered, he didn’t like the company of any other woman.

So was he having a physical relationship with someone just because she had denied him? So was this just a physical attraction between them? Maybe he didn’t love her the way she did. Maybe his definition of love differed from her own!

As the minutes ticked by, Brooklyn started boiling with jealousy and anger. How could he have a fling and yet force her to live with him in the same room, on the same bed? She would have shifted to her old room if it hadn’t been for the twins.

Feeling hurt and unwanted, she lay down on her side of the bed and tried hard to sleep, but even after fifteen minutes, she couldn’t sleep.
