Brooklyn sat down on the bed in a daze. Could she forget and forgive him that easily? Maybe not. Still, she knew she didn’t have any other choice than to sleep with him in his room. If he had given her his word, maybe he would stick to it! She would have to stay here since the twins needed her.
She walked inside the walk-in closet to arrange her stuff, but a gasp escaped her, seeing that it was full of neatly arranged clothes that she had left behind nine months ago.
Nikolas had kept all her stuff with care as they looked clean, just like she had left them.
