Chapter 128. Nikolas's Concern
“Are you sure your sleepy heads won’t disturb us?” he asked with a small smile playing on his lips.
“My sleepy heads?” asked Brooklyn in disbelief.
“Okay, ours. Jeez, you’re already behaving like a wife,” said Nikolas.
“Is it a bad thing?” asked Brooklyn anxiously. Did he have no plans to marry her? Will she never be Mrs. Ardolf? Would she always be incomplete?
Brooklyn blinked, driving those thoughts away from her mind. She was just overreacting, maybe!
Nikolas gazed at her, taken aback by her sudden question. Of course, he loved her and wanted her in his life forever, but the thought of marriage hadn’t occurred to him at all. He looked uncomfortable, as he had seen no one happily married around him.
