Chapter 101. Visiting Her Brother

Amelia switched on her old mobile at last to call her family and Brooklyn. It had been almost three months since she had last called Brooklyn.

However, to her immense surprise, she found almost twenty missed calls to her number, all from Ryan. They were dated to the night when Rafael had called them. It was the same night two men of the NSM had attacked them.

Alarmed, she called back immediately. As usual, no one accepted her call. She couldn’t stay any longer. She had to go to Philadelphia and see Ryan first before heading to LA.
