“The car's heading towards Harrowgate or Kensington, I think. The area is crime prone, usually known for dr*g traf***king and murder cases.” Matteo panicked and looked behind them. Why hadn’t they received any backup from the Philadelphia Police Department yet?
The car sped left into W. Lycoming Street and straight towards Kensington. It took the cab driver all his concentration to keep the speeding Honda Civic in sight. Matteo tracked it with a grim look on his face.
In a few minutes, the car entered Kensington Avenue, a little off I-95, and the scenery changed around them. Matteo watched the dark gloomy alleyways with broken or dim streetlights.
Most of the blocks were lined with two-story row houses, abandoned factories, and vacant lots.
