Chapter 42. Crushing on Nikolas?
Freddie had kept them tied in two different rooms and all they could hear were each other’s screams and wails of protest. It was so frustrating that despite being under one roof, they couldn’t meet or help one another.
Brooklyn could hear Freddie’s gunshot echo through the air as he shot at her brother in the other room before escaping with her. It made her breakdown completely hearing Brandon’s shrill cry for help. Brandon, on the other hand, could hear Freddie flee with his sister but he was all tied up and wounded and was too helpless to do anything apart from shed helpless tears.
Now seeing the other, they broke down completely. Brooklyn gently hugged him and wept. “Brooks, are you okay?” croaked Brandon in between tears.
