Chapter 58. Staying in Nikolas's Apartment

Brooklyn followed Brandon into the tastefully decorated apartment, her eyes wide with astonishment at seeing the luxurious apartment that would be her new home. She wondered why Nikolas allowed them to stay here instead of at Brandon’s friend’s place.

Walking around, she explored the apartment while Brandon talked to Edgar. There were three bedrooms with panoramic views of the entire city. She chose a corner room for herself that overlooked the garden area of the condominium. There was a small walk-in closet she liked immensely, although she possessed a very limited number of clothes.

“Have you chosen this one for yourself?” asked Brandon, walking inside.

“Yes, I love it.” Brooklyn couldn’t hide the small smile from brightening up her face as she walked out onto the small balcony attached to her room. Brandon followed her out and stood beside her, staring at the garden below and the wide streets beyond. “How long did Nikolas allow us to stay here?” she asked Brando
