Chapter 90. Finding His Mom

Being freshly released from hospital, his weak body gave way and he slept all throughout the flight. Reaching Brooklyn in the afternoon, he checked into a hotel as he needed to relax first and then visit the rehabilitation center later.

It was evening when Nikolas could visit the rehabilitation center. Tucked away in the corner of the street, Newman Rehabilitation Center didn’t look at all like a fraud set up. He had asked the manager at his hotel and found out lots of information about the place.

It was a therapy center that housed around 500 patients, providing a safe, stable community for those mentally ill adults who need constant monitoring and treatment. A charitable, non-profit organization, Newman Rehabilitation Center was a part of the Newman Group of companies headed by the famous multi-billionaire, Derek Newman. Therefore, Nikolas was now assured that this couldn’t be a hoax call at all.

There had to be some grain of truth in their claim. Initially, he h
