"My father is dead," of all the things I expected him to say, that was the last thing that came to my head.

"What?" I'm unable to keep the shock out of my voice and the kid nods.

"Yeah, for a few months now." I fight the urge to massage my temples because of all the things I have heard in the past few days, this is the most surprising.

I recall my conversation with Damien and Dylan and what he said about Ryker making deals with smaller packs. It was unlike him which I mentioned, he liked going with aggressiveness always and smaller packs had nothing on him, he could wage war and get away with it quite easily.
