Chapter 6. A Dream
Avery sat on her bed with both hands on her cheeks, his image playing in her mind.
If this was a dream, she didn’t want it to end.
Her Aaron was real. He was actually real.
Her eyes went to the poster on her wall, and she broke into giggles.
Picking up the book by her side, she was about to engross herself into reading when the sound of the doorbell reached her ears.
Avery’s gaze darted to the wall clock, and a frown settled on her face.
Who could that be?
Apart from Joey and her mother, who visited once a year, no one else usually came here to disrupt her peaceful time.
