Chapter 12. Not You?

Goddess… am I wrong? But I've never been wrong! I always guess what's right, jeez. How come it's not her?

"Terrence, let's go! You've been staring into that picture for decades!" Zee yelled, pulling me away from that room.

There was an ache in my heart that kept me from going away. I was sure it was her, how the hell is she not? I don’t know… 

“There’s no time to think, loser. Just be thankful because your mind is bound by enchanted blood, no one could hear your thoughts but…” She stopped for a while.

“But what?” I asked. 

“Nevermind,” she said and continued to lead the way.

I followed what she wanted, to run away and follow her. I waited until she calmed down… until I could sense she is ready to face me and answer my questions. I’m sure she’ll answer me this time and won’t have a choice.
