Chapter 13. Where Are You, Chandra?
“It’s them again,” Amara said. She’s not surprised at all, nor scared. “Lock the door, get inside, they’ll be gone after a few hours,” Amara added while swaying her hands into the air, closing her eyes, and whispering incomprehensible words.
All of a sudden, every chandelier lost its light, including her very room. Zee jumped and hugged me for her comfort. I let her, but I looked for Amara. She showed herself after flickering a small candle, which I also didn’t know where she got from.
“Her eyes directly looked at me and Zee, hugging like a couple. I saw her dark aura, and immediately got the hint.
I had to put Zee away, so I pushed her. It resulted in Zee’s falling to the ground. Oh, Zee… I'm so sorry. I mean pushing you, though,
