Ryder’s POV

My breath hitched and my throat went dry when I saw San in deep blue flowing robes, enter the arena like a Goddess that she was.

Her persona and aura lit up with a radiance as bright as the Sun and the utter calm on her face was in stark contrast to the thunderous weather that stormed the entire place.

My eyes refused to look anywhere but on her and I could tell that every wolf present could feel San’s supreme power.

“She looks ravishing,” Ness breathed out but no muscle of mine could make a move in return as every cell of mine seemed to be under San’s enchanting spell.

“Who are those men?” Chester pointed out as huge beasts came in view while entering the arena.

Whoa!

Those men were like huge, scary monsters.

Something seemed sinister about them too.

They eyed my mate with nasty gazes.

“Those are Alpha Draven’s warriors. They have come to challenge San,” Kris answered.

“What? Is that even allowed?”
