Jax’s POV

The Royal army was not at all happy.

Nope.

Not at all.

They were fiercely loyal guards of the Council and with the Elders dead, they wanted vengeance for the death of their beloved Masters.

When I saw the huge numbers of viciously aggressive wolves stream towards our direction, I felt like throwing a pity party for ourselves because there was in no way in hell that we could escape the onslaught that was going to sadly ensue on us.

“Don’t worry about the Royal Army,” Zara’s comforting voice came in through the mindlink. “Hop on my back and hold on tight. I am going to kick a few asses before the world gets to know the truth,” she added and immediately after, her Dragonian form screeched to urge our stone shocked figures to climb on her.

“No,” I refused. “You are not going to face them all alone,” I pointed out firmly.
