“ALL STUDENTS, PLEASE SETTLE DOWN QUICKLY!! I AM GOING TO ASSIGN YOU ALL YOUR PROJECT PARTNERS NOW AND THE LIST IS PERMANENT AS I SENT IT TO THE COORDINATOR ALREADY. SO NO CHANGES OR REQUESTS SHALL BE ENTERTAINED!” the Quantum Mechanics teacher announced.

“I hope you are my partner,” Xereus rasped in my ear, making me shoot to the other side of the bench. “I swear if I were a cat, I would spend all nine lives with you,” he further remarked while sliding back close to me.
