Chapter 66. Reunited

Joy’s POV

I sharply inhaled when a band of arms suddenly pulled me into their embrace and my favourite scent in the world wafted through my nostrils.

“You have been hiding from me,” he rasped as he nibbled on my ear.

“No,” I breathed out. I totally was.

“Hmm really?” he asked as his lips trailed towards my arching neck, a frisson of excitement shooting up my spine.

“Yeah!” I gasped, the mono word tumbling out of my mouth somehow as his fingers crept into my shirt and played with handfuls of my pillowy globes.

“Why do I find that hard to believe .... mate?” he huskily let out the last word and that was the last straw that melted me completely in his being.

“I was afrayyyyy- aiddddd,” I moaned, arching back towards him. My fingers immediately dug into his hair behind me while he made a savory meal out of my neck.

“Is that so?” he whispered in my ear before nibbling on it. “Do I scare you so much?” he asked, while his other set of
