“Whose phone keeps buzzing?” Beck asked sleepily, his eyes still closed. “Please turn it off."

Hayden reached for the nightstand grudgingly, his eyes still heavy with sleep as he swiped down his screen and put his phone on DND.

Beside him, Myla shifted, still half buried beneath Beck. “Is it work?” she murmured, her voice soft and lazy.

Jared groaned from the other side, one arm still wrapped around Beck. “If it is not urgent, ignore it,” he muttered. “The doctor said rest.”

“That was you, dumbass,” Beck murmured, pulling Myla deeper into his arms. “God, that incessant buzzing is ruining one of the best sleeps I’ve had in months.”
