The kiss felt like it was burning her body from the inside out. Even her brain was turning to mush. “Hay—”
Hayden suckled her tongue one last time, then he leaned back, eyes smoldering as he looked at her. “Take it off,” he said with a husky voice.
A shiver ran through her. God, this was something the accident… that stalker… almost took from her. Hayden was looking at her with so much emotion and passion, like she was the most breathtaking woman he had ever seen… like he wanted to eat her up.
She does whatever it takes to never return to those days when he looked at her with blank, cold eyes. Anything.
