“What are you doing here? Last time I saw you, you said you never wanted to see me or my club again!” Smokey retorted.
“I was young and just lost my brother. I was devastated.” Jo replied.
“It wasn’t my fault he wrecked his bike and died. I tried to keep him from leaving on it. But he was stronger than me and wouldn’t listen.” Smokey explained.
“I know. I just needed time to sort myself out.” Jo said softly.
“Five years?” Smokey scoffed. “Why now?”
“Can we go somewhere private and talk? There’s some things we need to sort out.” Jo replied.
“Man, I don’t think that’s a good idea!” Ice warned.
“We just need closure. So, we can both move on. I heard you’re getting married tomorrow?” Jo asked.
“I am. She’s the love of my life and having my baby.” Smokey stated.
