Dustin's POV 

With what happened to Louise, I'm determined to get rid of vampires for good. I have tried my best to overlook their existence but they seem to feel like they are untouchable. This bill has to be brought back at all cost, Alexa can't even take care of herself talk more of speaking on behalf of others. 

I stand in the senate chamber, my heart heavy with regret and anger. I think back to how I once pushed for the bill to be passed, allowing vampires to roam free among humans. I thought I was doing the right thing, but now I realize how wrong I was.
