I stumbled back in shock and Owen held onto me before I could fall. The person…no I couldn’t call it that because what was in front of me wasn’t a person. It didn’t even have a face. All I could see was ebony skin that seemed to be made from black frosted glass. It floated in the air like smoke.

"O…wen, what is that thing?" I stuttered in fear.

"I have no idea," he replied, sounding astonished.

"Gen!" Mum called out loudly running towards me. She pulled me into her arms.

"Mum! I was so scared. Are you okay?" I asked worriedly.
