Chapter 118. Fatherly Gesture

Nolan’s POV

I couldn’t get my mind off what Alpha Dawson said to me no matter how hard I tried. I wondered if my dad was actually sick. If it was obvious to the Alpha, then it had to be serious. He rarely got sick. He was the only family I had left and if something happened to him, I would truly be alone in this world. I might act like I didn’t care about him but deep down, I knew I couldn’t afford to lose him. I lifted my head from the steering wheel and stared at the pack house silently. In my state of panic, I had gotten into my car and raced down here without thinking twice.

I got out of the car after assuring myself that I was only going to check up on him and leave right away. I didn’t want any of his family’s drama.

"What are you doing here?" I heard a voice I never wanted to encounter ask. I halted in my steps and they both walked till they stopped in front of me.

"Nolan, what a surprise! You never informed us you would be coming
