Chapter 113. Letting It All Out
Owen’s POV
I was still hurt from earlier but my mind didn’t stand a chance before my heart and body. I found myself going towards the direction of Genevieve’s house. I stopped abruptly in front of the door. It was late and they’ve both been through a lot today. They must be tired and I didn’t want to add to their worries. I turned around to head back to the pack house but a sound caught my attention. It was low but I heard due to my heightened senses and it seemed to be coming from Genevieve’s room. I knew I wouldn’t be able to go through the door. Glancing up, I saw the window to her room widely open.
I didn’t feel comfortable with leaving her all alone after what I heard. I glanced around before climbing my way up to her room. The sound became clearer. She sounded tortured and in pain. I moved closer to her quickly.
