I picked up a dress from my closet and put it on with a wide smile on my face. I twirled in front of the mirror, squealing at the fit of the dress. I woke up feeling excited this morning. I pulled up my hair in a ponytail and began to apply my makeup. A clattering sound startled me, making me smudge the lipstick I was applying.
