Chapter 30

The next day

Jayda woke up with a cold and a slight headache. She was not happy about it because she was anticipating leaving the hospital today. But with her cold, she had no doubt the doctor was going to keep her in the hospital for at least one more day.

To her surprise, she was discharged in the evening and that made her happy as hell. She promised the doctor she was going to observe her bedrest thoroughly and would also take her medications at the appropriate time.

Sebastian took Jayda to her apartment, prepared a warm bath for her and picked out a nightdress for her to wear.

While Jayda had her bath, Seb made his way to the kitchen to prepare something for her to eat. He found ingredients for pasta and then began making dinner.

Jayda walked into the kitchen looking all fresh and clean. She wrapped her arms around Sebastian’s torso.

“Thank you.” She smiled and then kissed his cheek from behind.
