Hazel's POV

"Lia, are you ready?"

"Ever ready. I can’t wait to understand her purpose and why her wolf is staring at me like it’d prefer to kill me."

"She can see you?" I asked, feeling alarmed.

"Of course she can."

"Don’t you think that’s risky?"

"I don’t think she wants to tell her human, Meaidan."
