"So whose turn is it?" she asked me, returning to her sane, normal self once again.
I surreptitiously looked out the window, hoping Alpha Lokris wouldn’t see her here; that would certainly spell trouble for both of us. I still needed to know more from her, and I fervently hoped the Alpha wouldn’t disrupt this unplanned meeting with his formidable presence.
"Me too, Hazel. Because with the way she’s going, I fear there’s more to be said."
