Chapter 58. Giving Up
“I don’t know if you’re actually a fool or a total idiot,” Richard said as he let go of Winona’s face and then turned his back on Winona.
“You are really difficult, Winona,” Richard muttered in a low voice but with a lot of emotion in it.
Winona was silent. This was the only way she could think of at the moment. Winona had no place to live, her accounts were frozen, and her credit cards were useless. Where else should she live? Richard gave her a good idea this way.
“Then there is no other way, Winona. I will use a spell so that whether you want it or not, you will sign the divorce papers,” said Richard.
“Richard!” cried Winona angrily.
“Sign it before I have to,” Richard replied.
“I’m not going to do it, Richard. You know I won’t do it,” said Winona. Her eyes were now filled with tears again, but her gaze was sharp, so firm in her convictions.
