Chapter 64. The Fall of the Alpha
“I’m not an all-knowing encyclopedia, Juan!” shouted Martin in a loud voice, shocking all the vampires present. They did not think that Martin could be like that.
“There is a way, but it is very risky. You can take it or forget all this forever,” Martin said again in a lower voice.
“What way is that, Martin? You better tell me immediately, or you will know the consequences,” Juan threatened.
“It’s useless to threaten me, Juan. I’m not your vampire. I’m a werewolf and would never bow down to your kind. I should have made that clear from the first time I offered to help. You need to know I’m not a wolf without a master. Understand?” snapped Martin back.
The old man looked very intimidating despite his advanced age. Juan couldn’t help but fall silent, though a second later, he regretted showing that attitude in front of Martin. Juan snorted; he couldn’t put pressure on Martin. This old man had a lot of helpful information for Juan.
