“Besides, do you think I can survive every day seeing you in this mansion without being able to get close to you, Richard?” asked Winona again.
Richard again widened his eyes in surprise. It had not occurred to him at all.
“Not only will I kill you, but you will also kill me, Richard. I can’t imagine the pain because you don’t feel what I feel,” said Winona. She confidently said that because she didn’t know what Richard felt for her.
Richard really wanted to say that Winona didn’t know his true feelings, but he chose to be silent, enjoying the pain that now seemed to squeeze his entire heart and chest cavity. Why, when he falls in love, does he love the wrong woman? Instantly, Richard was unable to reply to Winona’s words.
