"It's your last day, Aunt Monica?" Jessica asked, sitting on a chair and leaning on a kitchen counter, her expression falling. "Are you sure?"
"I'm afraid so, sweetie." Monica said, flashing Jessica a hopeful smile as she continued cooking. "Don't worry, though. You know I'll always visit you. Can't stay away from my favorite rascal!"
Jessica flashed her a small smile before her expression fell again. "It won't be the same, Aunt Monica. I'll miss having you around!"
"You know what, Jess?" Monica messed with Jessica's hair, a warm smile on her face. "I'll miss you even more."
Moments later, a sleepy Steven walked into the kitchen, and his gaze locked with Monica's for a moment. Their cheeks flustered, they both looked away, attempting to distract themselves with anything they could see. "Uh... morning."
