It had been a month since Topaz had been admitted to the hospital, and she was still unconscious from the accident. Adams didn't for a day leave her side as he sat by her every day praying and hoping she would open her eyes.

The doctors had managed to save the baby even though it was almost impossible, it was a miracle that the baby had survived all that trauma.

The doctors had told him to be positive and keep praying and deep down, he believed she would wake up. People had visited her from Margaret to everyone in the family. They had even volunteered to stay with her while he goes home and gets some rest but he refused saying he didn't want her to wake up at any point and not find him beside her.
