“What do you mean by awful memories?” I couldn't help but ask, my mind already running wild.
Rowena stared at me. “He hasn't told you, I see.”
What hasn't he told me… was he hiding something from me? A secret wife, perhaps?
“What do you mean by that, is he hiding something from me?” I voiced out my concern, the bridge was already starting to itch and my fingers tingle with the need to rub them.
Rowena sighed and shrugged. “It's something he would have to tell you on his own,” she swallowed and looked back at the house with pain evident in her eyes. “All that had happened here was what contributed to the Damien that you are seeing today.”
