Chapter 23. PCOS

I didn’t think September would be this warm. When we got to the lake, Caleb and Asher took the cooler out of the trunk and led us down the path to the water.

After only two minutes of walking, I began to sweat. I didn’t like how it looked, and it made me want to swim even more.

We were on our way to the beach, but the clones got there before us. As we got closer to the space between the trees, Nash said something under his breath. I felt better about the trip when I heard that Abby, Chase, Darren, Ellis, and Sydney had also gone.

As soon as I get there, Abby runs up to me with a big smile.

"Yay! I’m so glad you came, Chloe!" When she squeals, I find it funny. “This is what’s best:"

"I’m glad to see you again. I’m happy, and so is she.

"Come on, put your towel down, and let’s start our beach day!" She stands her ground. Both coolers came from Asher and Caleb’s apartment and Abby’s. People start to put out chairs, beach
