Chapter 29. Frat
"A frat?" Caleb asks as he stands up to put his dishes in the sink.
"Yes, a frat." Ava is determined, and she and her clones are already dressed and standing around the dining room table.
No one had told me that Ava was making plans for tonight. She also didn’t seem to have told anyone she wanted to go to a frat party.
He said, "I thought you said we were going to Apex." Asher says with his eyes getting bigger. Apex was a cheap club for students in the downtown area. It was dark, loud, and had cheap drinks, just like a frat house. In a frat, it would be a million times worse. I didn’t care about it, especially since I knew it would be full of first- and second-year college students looking for something to do on a Friday night.
"I thought about it, but my sorority was invited, so I thought this might be a better idea." She says this while smiling. "At least no one will be hiding behind the door."
