Chapter 45. Mission

Tonight, are you free?" Asher and Caleb stop watching Netflix when I walk into the living room so they can talk to me.

"Are you sure you’re up for it?" Asher asks with a doubtful look. "Because we don’t have to go anywhere and you haven’t wanted to go anywhere in a long time."

"Well, that’s when I thought I’d killed someone." I answer while I’m sitting in the corner chair. "We don’t have to go back after it if you don’t want to, but I’m ready to."

I was still thinking about my thesis presentation when I kissed Nash last night, and I wasn’t sure if going out was such a good idea. But I was sick of being sad at home and wanted to go out and have fun again.

"Well, I guess so. I think it’s possible." Asher sighs.

"I’m down Chloe." Caleb says this in a sure way. "If Asher wants to be a whiny b*tch, I’ll go out with you."
