Chapter 50. Doctors

"When we’re done here, we’ll talk more and write you a full letter, but we’re very interested in your research, Chloe." I smile when Doctor Carlton says something. I can feel the stress leaving my back for the first time since I started working on my talk. "We’re going to move ahead with your project, and we’re looking forward to your next presentation in the new year."

"Thanks, and I’m glad you like it." I walk up to each of them, smile, and shake their hands. "And I really do appreciate your time today."

"Of course." This is what he says with a smile. "We want to thank you for being so ready and working through the computer problems. This was obviously important to you."

"It was...important to me," I tell him. He smiles and nods his head. "Thank you for being there for me during this change."

"Of course, Chloe, have a good day and let me know if you have any more questions.
